Bio

Umadevi Elangho holds a Ph.D in Mathematics from University of Madras, Tamandu, India. Her research is in the area of complex analysis, particularly univalent functions, star-like functions. She is an active researcher in her expertise with publications in Scopus listed journals. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, U.K., recognizing her achievements in meeting the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education.  She has 22 years of teaching experience and joined Zayed university in 2015 as an Instructor in Mathematics, in College of Natural and Health sciences.
