Bio

Dr. Qafisheh is an Environmental Scientist and Climate Change expert with extensive academic and industrial experience. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science & Sustainability at Zayed University and previously coordinated the Environment, Health, and Safety Program at Abu Dhabi University. Her research focuses on climate change adaptation and resilience, water pollution, and sustainability. Dr. Qafisheh has worked with ThyssenKrupp Xervon and Severn Trent Services, conducting research on water pollution and implementing AI solutions for environmental impact reduction. She holds a Master’s in Environmental Engineering (France) and a Ph.D. in Applied Science (USA), with multiple scholarships. She founded the Environmental Club to promote sustainability and has published numerous technical papers and edited a textbook.
