Bio

Dr. Marina Verlinden-Bondaruk is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Zayed University, teaching in both undergraduate and Master’s programs. She holds a PhD in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology, along with master’s degrees in Epidemiology, Public Health, and Social Sciences. Her career includes work as a Cross-sectoral Specialist at WHO Europe, contributing to humanitarian efforts in Eastern Ukraine, and as a Scientific Researcher at Erasmus University Medical Centre for the Generation R Study. She has also worked with USAID and SOCIUM–XXI in health policy and project management. Dr Marina’s research, published in journals like Pediatrics and JACAAP, focuses on child development and behavioural issues. At Zayed University, she teaches research methods, social psychology, and public health, supervises internships and senior projects, and serves on key committees, including Research Ethics and Accreditation, integrating research, education, and health policy.
