Bio

Dr. Lina Maloukh obtained her Biology and Biotechnology Degree in 2004, completed her PhD in Applied Biological Sciences and Biotechnology from Ghent University in Belgium in 2010 and continued her post-doctoral fellowship at INRA research institute of Versailles in France in 2014. She transitioned to academia as Assistant Professor at University of Modern Sciences in Dubai from 2014 to 2020. Dr. Maloukh then joined the College of Natural and Health Sciences at Zayed University where she currently holds the position of Assistant professor. Her research interests are working with DNA barcodes of UAE plants. Another part of research is about Cistanche phelypaea RNA transcriptome sequencing.
