Bio

Prof. Al Kury holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Therapeutics. She has been dedicated to research since 2014 and has published over 50 manuscripts, including original research articles and reviews in high-impact journals. Her research aims to understand the roles of ion channels and receptors in health and disease, as well as to explore the molecular and cellular targets of natural plant extracts. This work provides a foundation for investigating the therapeutic applications of medicinal plant extracts across various health conditions. Additionally, Prof. Al Kury has more than 15 years of teaching experience and actively participates in committees at both the departmental and the college levels.
