Bio
Dr Lakshmi has over twenty-three years of teaching and research experience in the Middle East and has served as an Assistant Professor at King Faisal University (KSA) and Fatima College of Health Sciences(UAE). She is a prolific researcher, with the majority of publications in peer-reviewed journals, an invited speaker at international conferences, and a Fellow at prestigious organizations like the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (FIBMS) in the UK and the Royal Society of Biology (FRSB). She is also a Fellow of the Royal Charter College of Teachers (FcollT) UK. Currently serving as Visiting Scientist; and ambassador member for EACR. Her current research interests are in the applications of Metagenomic mining and Bioinformatics of microbial enzymes.
