My main research interest is children’s and adolescents oral health. Mainly examining the etiology of aggressive periodontitis and intra-species phylogenetic differences and identify virulent pathogenic clones of Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans associated with the disease.
I am also interested in studying the oral health status of pre-schoolers in relation to their nutritional habits.
