Research and Professional Activities

Dr. Ghaith earned his Ph.D. from Queen’s University, Canada in 2020 working on the SuperCDMS experiment. His work focused on detector testing, detector calibration tools and data analysis. He joined Zayed University in Spring 2022 and became a Principal Investigator (PI) at the SuperCDMS collaboration since then.

Dr. Ghaith’s research at Zayed University will be supporting the SuperCDMS SNOLAB experiment in Canada through working on detector testing techniques in addition to his contributions to the on-site and off-site shift at SNOLAB. Dr. Ghaith is also be leading a research group at Zayed University, the Mars Vacuum Chamber group, to perform a research related to the environment on planet Mars.
