Holding a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Master’s degree in Public Health from the American University of Beirut, Mona El Kouatly Kambris has been working at Zayed University since 2014. She has taught over 20 different courses to graduates and undergraduates. These include social and preventive medicine, healthcare management, health and social policy, epidemiology and principles of environmental sustainability.
As an advocate for worldwide appropriate public health systems, Mrs. El Kouatly Kambris assisted in coordinating the reproductive health activities in Iraq with both the UNFPA and the WHO. Mrs. El Kouatly Kambris current research interest includes reviewing the effectiveness of school health education material, in raising the awareness of students regarding diabetes mellitus. The use of pollution sensors and different social media platforms as a predictor of patient health is another one of her research areas.
