Remote Sensing and Environment Specialist

B.Tech Geo Informatics Engineering

Bio

Mr. Manish serves as a Remote Sensing and Environment Specialist at the College of Natural and Health Sciences (CNHS) at Zayed University. His research interest includes mapping mineralogy, geology, geomorphology, and atmospheric parameters of Mars, Moon, Earth, and other extra-terrestrial planets using Remote Sensing satellite images and Geographic Information System (GIS) tools. He is also involved in fabrication process of Space and Environement chamber (Mars), and spectrogoniometer in ZU. Previously, he served as a Research Assistant at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), working for China's lunar exploration mission, where he assisted on Chang'E 5 and Chang'E 4 lunar missions by delivering useful scientific outputs like regolith thickness mapping, mineralogical mapping, geomorphological mapping, geological mapping, etc. of Landing and Backup Landing sites.
