Teaching Areas

Lama has six years of teaching experience, teaching Biology, public health and research methods courses. Lama is always interested in trying new and innovative ways of teaching science and is engaged in professional development on related topics.

Previous to teaching, Lama worked at Agriculture and Agri-food Canada researching food allergens, and crop research. Lama completed her master’s degree in plant Development; looking at how BOP1 and BOP2 genes interact with hormone auxin to regulate plant growth and leaf phyllotaxy.
