Bio
Currently, Dr. Imen Ben Salem serves as an Assistant Professor in Physics at the College of Natural and Health Sciences, Zayed University, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Ben Salem is an active member of the CNHS group focusing on teaching, research, instrument fabrication, and with space research team to establish Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Laboratory, which supports research lines in space science, remote sensing, Mars-related manned and unmanned missions, and CO2 storage and sequestration projects. Her research interests include but are not limited to solid and fluid mechanics, multiphase flow studies, theoretical and computational fluid modeling (CFD) with the simulation of chemical kinetics, technological development for energy applications, clean and environmental protection in general, Earth science, planetary science, geophysics, light scattering behavior, etc.
