Bio
Ms. Elnagar joined the college of Natural and Health Sciences at Zayed University as a full-time Senior Instructor in August 2021after spending two years (August 2019-August 2021) as Senior Instructor at University College. She has 20 years’ work experience in teaching Mathematics and prior to Zayed University, Ms. Elnagar worked at Abu Dhabi University for 11 years (August 2008-August 2019) where she held many responsibilities and positions, including Math and Science Program Director, Math Course Coordinator, Learning Support Center Coordinator, and Math Placement Test Coordinator.
Ms. Elnagar enjoys teaching Math at all levels. She is known of making students love learning math through projects and applications.
Furthermore, she served on several committees at the college and the university levels, such as the College Council, the Undergraduate Council, the University Promotion Committee, Faculty Development Committee, University Curriculum Committee, Institutional Research Board, UC Dean Search Committee, and the Course File Committee.
Ms. Elnagar received several awards in the area of teaching and service such as the Excellence Award of Teaching in 2009, 2010, and 2012 and the Distinguish Service Award in 2012 and 2015.
Her research interests include Different Approaches in Teaching Mathematics and E-Learning.
