UAE Spectral Library - Zayed University
The user can interact with UAE Spectral library Website and can access the spectral information of UAE region, derived using Spectroradiometer instrument and Hyperspectral remote sensing satellite data. To improve the user experience, the website contains two basemaps, one in high-resolution satellite imagery and the other in topographic layer with area names. The user can zoom the area of interest to access the derived spectral information of rocks, soil, minerals, flora etc. The website is also attached with an interactive elevation profile tool to access the information about the area’s elevation. The user needs to draw a line of sight in the area of interest to get the information on Length of illustrated profile, gain in elevation, loss in elevation, max slope, and other necessary data. All these details will be shown in the popup.
