Bio

Dr Sumbul Kabir Hasan joined Zayed University as an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance, bringing with her a distinguished academic and professional background. She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce and is a CFA Level I credential holder, with advanced certifications in Accounting and Finance. Her prior roles span both academia and administration, having served as a Faculty of Accounting and Finance, Financial Controller, Controller of Examinations, and member of key institutional committees in leading institutions across India and UAE. She has played an instrumental role in affiliation and accreditation processes, academic advisory, and strategic governance.
Dr. Kabir's research has been published in internationally indexed journals, and she actively contributes to scholarly and professional communities through conferences, seminars, FDPs and MDPs. Her areas of expertise include Financial Derivatives, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Financial Reporting, Managerial Accounting, Costing, Advanced Financial Accounting and Income Tax Law.
