Bio
During my years at Zayed University, I have taught courses in Physiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health and Environment, Insights into Evidence, Applied Creative and Critical Thinking, and Research methods to undergraduate students.
I was awarded an MBBS degree from Dow University of Health Sciences (Karachi University) in Pakistan with distinctions in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, and Gynaecology/obstetrics. I attained a Masters in Public Health (with merit) from the University of Liverpool (UK). I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).
My main research interests lie in qualitative and quantitative research related to online education and public health concerns, including perspectives on cervical cancer screening, cancer epidemiology, heart disease awareness, and health-seeking behavior.
