Bio

Salwa Husain is an instructor at Zayed University in the College of Interdisciplinary Studies. She received her Ph.D. in Leadership and Policy Studies in Education from UAE University in the field of association between college instructors’ emotional intelligence and instructor-student relationship in a UAE higher education. She earned her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership & Administration from Zayed University. She is teaching at ZU since 2019 and she is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Her research interests include educational leadership, emotional intelligence, and positive education. Over the past years, she has taught different General Education courses such as Methods of Scientific Research, Positivity & Wellbeing, Strategic Learning & Growth, Applied Creative & Critical Thinking, and System & Society.
