Bio

Rama is a seasoned educator with an extensive background in higher education across Australia, the United States, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates.  In her role as a university lecturer since 2004, she inspired students through her dynamic and innovative teaching methods, fostering a deep passion for active learning and critical thinking. She is experienced in teaching Composition, Public Speaking, Critical and Creative Thinking, Professional Communication, and ESL courses.  In addition to her teaching expertise, Rama has held prominent leadership roles within the higher education sector as an Assistant Director of Studies and a Program Coordinator where she contributed to curriculum development, faculty mentoring, and program assessment, ensuring academic excellence. She has also played a vital role in promoting diversity and inclusion, championing initiatives that empower students and faculty alike.
