Bio

Perihan is Associate Professor of Finance. Her extensive research covers diverse financial topics, including corporate governance, investor sentiment, and international finance. She also engages in interdisciplinary research, particularly in the field of innovation. Her work has been published in reputable international journals such as the European Journal of Finance, Finance Research Letters and Journal of Asian Economics.

In addition to her research, Perihan is an experienced educator, teaching various courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She has supervised numerous undergraduate and master's theses. She is also a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and Stevens Initiative Connected Classrooms scholar.

Perihan loves working closely with her students. She is the founder and academic advisor of the Zayed University Finance Club, where she has organized events and educational trips, including a Bloomberg student roundtable and visits to University of Loyola, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and University of Chicago.
