Bio

Natalya Rietmuller is an Instructor with the College of Interdiscpliary Studies and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE). She teaches first- and second-year academic writing courses. Her research focus is on teaching and learning in higher education with particular interest in writing pedagogy, educational technology, academic reading and development of critical thinking. She is also interested in metacognition, educational neuroscience and contemplative pedagogy.
