Bio

Marina Traikou is an experienced educator, she has taught Diploma Programme students and adult students for years pairing evidence-based teaching with innovative curriculum design. Her classroom practice emphasizes clear learning outcomes, responsive assessment, and inclusive pedagogy, contributing to consistent gains in student achievement and engagement.

Marina is currently pursuing an Education Doctorate (EdD) at UCAM, Spain (2024–2027). Her research examines educators’ mental health and well-being, with particular interest in the role of institutional culture, workload, and support systems in enabling teacher flourishing and, by extension, improved student outcomes. Grounded in a transformative approach to education, she seeks to empower learners to reach their full potential while promoting environments that value inclusivity, critical inquiry, and social-emotional growth.
