Dr. Chirenje, an accomplished Assistant Professor of Sustainability Sciences at Zayed University, holds a distinguished Ph.D. in Sustainability Science from the United Nations University in Japan. With over a decade of experience as an educator, Dr. Chirenje brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the academic realm. His diverse research portfolio spans critical sustainability issues, including livelihoods, climate change literacy, climate adaptation, and the circular economy. Dr. Chirenje's impactful contributions extend beyond academia, with several peer-reviewed articles in esteemed journals, particularly in Sustainable Development, Livelihoods, and the Water-Energy-Food Nexus.
