Bio
Layal joined CIS in Fall 2022. She studied finance and economics. She is a certified FinTech consultant by Harvard University. And as well earned a Machine Learning certificate from Stanford University. Layal’s teaching activities are in management, entrepreneurship and innovation, marketing, economics, critical thinking and problem solving.
Layal was featured on international television and did several interviews discussing innovation in teaching financial literacy. She has a passion in combining business subjects with technology. Which is currently her research interest.
Layal has a diversified professional portfolio. She started teaching in 2016. Prior to her academic career, she gained 6 years of corporate experience with government entities.
