Bio

Dr. Kaustuv Kanti Ganguli is an Associate Professor at the College of Interdisciplinary Studies in Zayed University. His area of expertise includes Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Virtual Reality, Audio, Speech and Natural Language Processing, Music Performance, Ethnomusicology, and Multimedia Information Retrieval, Cognitive Neuroscience, Computational Linguistics. Kaustuv beholds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and a Visiting Scholarship at New York University Abu Dhabi. He is a Golden Visa holder in the UAE and co-investigates multiple interdisciplinary projects and grants across the country. As his resume illustrates, Kaustuv envisions to blend humanistic and computational methods in a cross-disciplinary environment within a liberal arts framework. He possesses excellent research, statistics, data assimilation skills, detail-oriented aptitude, and is capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision, motivated to offer the highest quality of services with a complete focus on cutting-edge research and sustainable innovative teaching.
