Bio

I am currently working as a full-time instructor at College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Minerva.  

I have 18+ years of rich teaching experience at various international universities including UAE, Canada, Oman and India. I am passionate to teach various information technology related topics like networking, programming, coding, robotics, information systems, etc. and other non-IT areas like mathematics, sciences etc.

I have handled multiple responsibilities during my 18+ years of teaching career as follows:

• Developed new curriculum and introduce advanced teaching techniques as a member of ICB 103- Applied Algorithmic Thinking, GEN175- Introduction to Information Technology, MIS 260- Management Information System assessment committee

• Handled administrative responsibilities in various areas like being an advisor  

• Contributed as member of various committees (e.g. Student Affairs, Faculty Affairs, Teaching and Learning)

• Lead various student development initiatives like coding club, management information system club, preparing them for contests, etc.

• Mentorship program for students as well as new faculties

My teaching philosophy focus on enhancement of student engagement and interactions through various collaborative and innovative teaching techniques which promotes critical thinking among students. I am motivated to deliver high quality technical and professional IT programs using latest technology and innovative learning methods.
