Bio

George’s professional background is grounded in Mathematics, Business and Engineering Science. He has lectured for twenty-seven years at universities in the USA, Greece, UK and the UAE. He has re-organized, developed and delivered lectures in Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability & Statistics, Business Mathematics, Mechanical Science, Engineering Circuit Analysis, Principles of Marketing, Principles of Management, Business Ethics, Critical Decision Making, Financial Communications & Finance and Research Methods in Business.

As an instructor, George enjoys assisting students deciphering complex mathematical meanings convoluted by the terse language of mathematicians, precise to a context which is far beyond than realizing and responding to words in isolation. Hence, his students develop their own higher order leaning skills, enhance their critical thinking processes and refine their problem-solving skills.

His research interests lie in multi-stage computer adaptive testing (msCAT) in Mathematics.

George is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), a subsidiary of UK-based Advance HE.
