Bio
Ekaterina Chevtaeva holds a Ph.D. in the field of tourism from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as well as a Master's degree in Management from Escuela de Alta Dirección Administración (EADA), Spain. Before entering academia, Ekaterina gained valuable operations management experience within the Marriott Hotels portfolio, where she served as the Director of Quality & Loyalty at the St. Regis Hotels. In addition to her academic pursuits, Ekaterina actively contributes as a board member for the International Federation for Information Technology and Tourism, overseeing their marketing efforts. She has also been involved in numerous consulting projects in the tourism sector, collaborating with organizations such as the World Tourism Organization and the Pacific Asia Travel Association.
Ekaterina's research focuses on experience design, marketing, and tourism, with her latest investigations centered around the digital nomad lifestyle and destination management.
