Ayeza joined Zayed University in Fall 2019 as a faculty member in the department of Interdisciplinary Studies in University College. Previously she served as the Chair of the Department of Advising and Academic Development in University College and has work experience from the University of Michigan and The Ohio State University in Academic Affairs.

Ayeza’s research interests focus on positivity and wellbeing for college students, self-care practices for faculty, first-generation low-income college students and mentorship programs. She has background in enrollment management, student transition, first year experience and academic affairs.
