Bio

Dr. Alexandra A. Henderson is an Associate Professor of Management at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi. She holds degrees from Dartmouth College (BA), Lund University (MSc), and Bowling Green State University (MA/PhD). Dr. Henderson’s work appears in leading journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Business and Psychology, Journal of Managerial Psychology, and Stress and Health. Her work has also been presented at a variety of conferences, including the Academy of Management (AOM), Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), and Work, Stress, and Health (WSH) conferences. Her primary research area is organizational psychology, with specializations in occupational health psychology and leadership. She has consulting experience in job analysis, leadership development, and psychological skills training.
