Bio
Jameel is a Partnership Specialist on the CIS Student life Team at Zayed University. He engages students and mentors by bridging industry with education through the Partner Challenge program. Students gain real-world experience through project based placements in companies/organizations that begin in the first year of the CIS program.
Jameel has 15 years of sales/account management leadership experience with focus on strategy, enablement and partnerships spanning multiple sectors and geographic markets. Prior to joining ZU, he was the global sales and marketing lead for Professional Skills training programs at the British Council. He led internal teams in 30 countries, working with clients to uncover skills gaps and develop customized training programs. He has designed and implemented successful sales strategies and developed custom ERP and CRM systems that have resulted in sustainable scalability.
Jameel has taught business courses at Confederation College and Lakehead University (in Canada) and has keen interests in strategic management, transformation, process digitalization and knowledge management.
