Bio

Stephanie holds an MA in English with a creative writing concentration. In 2018, she joined Zayed University, where she has taught composition and communication courses for the University College, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and College of Interdisciplinary Studies. In addition to teaching in the UAE, Stephanie has also taught composition and EFL courses for universities in Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. Her research interests include peer review in the composition classroom and promoting mental health awareness within the university setting. In 2021, Stephanie completed the Mental Health Facilitation training program sponsored by Zayed University’s Student Counselling Department and the National Board for Certified Counsellors (USA).
