Bio
Dr. Ons Al-Shamaileh is a faculty member at the College of Interdisciplinary Studies. She received her MSc and PhD degrees in E-business technology and Interactive Systems from the University of Manchester, UK. Dr. Al-Shamaileh research interests focus on Human Computer Interaction, User Experience and Social Networks.
Prior to joining Zayed University, Dr. Al-Shamaileh taught at the University of Manchester- UK, Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart University, and served as the Director of Information Technology Management program where she was successful in obtaining the Full CAA Accreditation for the program. She was also the Internship supervisor and the Secretary General of the Board of Trustees at the American University in the Emirates.
Additionally, Dr. Al-Shamaileh is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, certified EFQM assessor, certified UX specialist from Nielsen Norman Group NN/g- London and has worked as a User Experience consultant for various projects in the UK and UAE.
