Bio

Dr. Eleana Kafeza is an associate professor at Zayed University, College of Interdisciplinary Studies and before she was an associate professor at Department of Computing and Applied Technology, College of Technological Innovation, Zayed University. Dr Kafeza holds a Ph.D. from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in computer science. She has an international experience having worked as faculty at Athens University of Economic and Business and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and having served on Sabbatical Leave at International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad India. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Ontario Tech Canada. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Dr Kafeza has an extended research experience having published at top ranked journals like IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and data Engineering, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications and Information Systems Frontiers. Her research interests are in data science, data mining for behavioral analytics in social media, time series analysis, business processes and e-contracts.
