Bio

Dr. Sandra Baroudi joined Zayed University as an Assistant Professor in August 2020. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from the British University in Dubai (BUID), UAE. Dr. Baroudi provides mentorship, training, and professional development for in-service in the Taâlouf Program for Career Based Teacher Development, through the Al Jalila Foundation and also under the sustainable upskilling program to the National Charity Schools in partnership with HSBC Middle East. She was a Research Fellow for the Queen Rania Foundation in Jordan and the Education Endowment Foundation in the UK. She held the position of a visiting faculty member at UAEU in Al Ain in Spring 2019. She worked for  5 years as a researcher at the College of Education at Zayed University in Dubai. Her work explores leadership and management in education, teacher education and professional development, technology integration in the classroom, and the development of female leadership in the MENA region. She led the contextualization of the teaching and learning toolkit into the Arab world context. Dr. Baroudi has presented at national and international conferences and has published her work internationally in peer-reviewed journals. She is currently involved in various research projects. Her intellectual contributions are cited on her Google Scholar and ResearchGate profiles.
