Introduction

Since graduating from the University of Arizona, I have taught at various higher education institutions around the world, including in the USA and UAE. I am currently a senior instructor in the Languages Department, where I teach General Education courses on rhetoric and composition. My research interests include language education, sociolinguistics, and pragmatics. I have published papers on topics such as politeness, language and culture, and teaching writing.
