Annick Durand

Introduction

A native of the south of France, Annick Durand received a Ph. D. in Comparative Literature from New York University.  She has been presenting and publishing on Maghrebine literature in French, Expatriates in Tangier, and Orientalism.  She joined Zayed University in Dubai in 2004, where she has been working as Associate Professor while serving in various administrative positions (Assistant-Chair, Chair, Associate Dean).

Previous positions:

1990 – 2000: Associate Professor of French and Comparative Literature, Chair of the French Program, Rivier University (USA).
