Introduction
James Williams is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Zayed University, Dubai. He studied anthropology at Cambridge University and the Johns Hopkins University.
Research and Professional Activities
James Williams has conducted long-term fieldwork in South Africa with young male African migrants and refugees. His research interests include youth, migration, and work in contexts of urban volatility, poverty, and post-conflict.
