Research Interests:Urban Anthropology, Lusophone Studies, Anthropology of Dance, Visual Anthropology

Current Projects:My current research direction includes tracing the transnational cultural flows between Portugal and its former colony – Macau. I focus on assessing the notion of “Portuguesness”, its manifestations in urban space and the lived experiences of Portuguese community in Macau.
