Bio
Dr. Lani San Antonio has worked in higher education for the past 15 years in the UAE and USA. She started at Zayed University in 2016 and since since being at ZU, she taught and helped develop courses centered on positivity and happiness, research methods and innovation. Dr. Lani was selected by the Ministry of Education to take part in the UAE-Stanford University Innovation & Entrepreneurship training program in 2018.
Dr. Lani has presented internationally on many topics centered around first year college student resiliency, happiness and wellbeing in higher education and creativity in the classroom. In addition to these topics, Dr. Lani’s research agenda extends to intersectionality, multicultural competence and emerging research methods. In 2020, Dr. Lani was recognized as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
