Bio

Dr. Fatima Salem Al-Mohsen is an Assistant Professor and Internship Coordinator at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Zayed University. She holds a Ph.D. in Management, Leadership, and Policy from the British University in Dubai, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership (with honors) from Zayed University in collaboration with the University of Washington, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (English Studies) from Zayed University.

Dr. Al-Mohsen brings over 17 years of experience across the K–12 and higher education sectors in the UAE. She began her career at Zayed University’s College of Education before transitioning to broader academic and administrative roles that bridge education, social sciences, and leadership development. Over the years, she has coordinated field experience programs, supervised internships, and fostered university–school partnerships that connect academic learning with community and professional practice.

Her research interests center on educational leadership, professional preparation, and human development, with a growing focus on the ethical use of generative AI in higher education, future skills, and workforce readiness aligned with UAE Vision 2030. Dr. Al-Mohsen has published and co-authored several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and was honored by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, her outstanding academic and professional contributions to education and leadership in the UAE.
