Bio
Alia Al Balooshi is a 2010 Zayed University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Education/ Early Childhood Development and Primary Studies. Being a teacher was her life's dream. She started as a teacher in Alanwaar Kindergarten and taught there for six years. Alia enrolled in her master degree through HCT and Deaken University in Australia and received a double Master’s degree in Education and Management and Policy in 2014. Alia continued to improve herself professionally by enrolling in the UAE Government Leaders program under the future leaders category and she has graduated in 2021.
One of Alia’s biggest achievements was when HCT published her research on Formative Assessment in their second book of the M. Ed. research series: “Education and the United Arab Emirates: Perspectives from Experience". In her former role as a headteacher in the ECLC, she also act as a mentor for the student teachers from College of Education, in Zayed University
