Introduction

Larysa Nikolayeva is an Assistant Professor of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She obtained her PhD in Typological Linguistics from Donetsk National University, Ukraine, in March 2005. Dr. Nikolayeva has worked in the Middle East since the year 2009. She has been successfully teaching a range of reading and writing courses.

Research and Professional Activities

 

Research interests:  

(1) text adaptation for Arab students;

(2) online learner-content interaction of Emirati students.

 

Current Projects:

(1) Response to text adaptation by Arab students;

(2) Exploring online learner-content interaction of Emirati female students.
