Introduction
Dr. Jaime Buchanan is a Senior Instructor who has taught digital humanities, academic, and technical writing at Zayed University since 2012. She has taught in adult education contexts in the UAE and Argentina. In 2025, she obtained her PhD in Curriculum & Instruction from Kansas State University, and she also holds an MA and BA in English Literature from Wilfrid Laurier University and St Thomas University respectively. Jaime’s research focuses on sustainable feedback practices, effective classroom practice, and the relationship between technology and learning.
In addition to her academic credentials, Jaime also holds several professional postgraduate teaching credentials, including

- Diploma in English Language Teaching for Adults (University of Cambridge)
