Introduction

I have been an English teacher for 20 years having taught Business English in Barcelona, General English to Asylum Seekers and Refugees in inner-city London and Academic English in various universities in the UK. I have worked at Zayed University since 2013 and during that time I have conducted research into the use of technology for collaborative writing and presented the results at several international education conferences in Italy, Spain and the UK. I am an IELTS Examiner and Fellow of the Higher Education Authority.
