Introduction
Prof. Ibrahim research includes Emirates Studies, focusing on the social, economic and urban life in the city of Abu Dhabi. He has also led an analysis looking for the effects of globalization on social and religion aspects in the UAE using different dimensions. He has experience in Islamic cultural dimensions in a global context. Dr. Ibrahim earned his Ph.D. in the Faculty of Engineering Science & mathematics at the University of Southampton in 2008.
He worked for seventeen years at Ministry of Education as a teacher before going to the UK to do his PhD on globalization and urban development. He worked as a professor at Sharjah University for five years and then at Higher Colleges of technology from 2015-2018 before joining Zayed University.
