Introduction

Dr. Thabet holds a BA/ MA/ Ph.D. in political science. Her research interests focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, with special emphasis on Democratization challenges, ethnic/ racial conflict management, fundamentalism, and broader topics of security studies. 

She speaks French & English fluently, and has a good command in Spanish.

My research interests include African Affairs, Ethnic and Racial Identities, Ethnic/ Racial conflict Management, Democratization and Terrorism with focus on Africa

Current research:

Politics of Ethnicity and Governance in Sudan: Prospects for the Post al-Bashir Period

And The Rise of Violent Extremism  in Northern Mozambique
