The Department of Arabic Language and Literature at Zayed University has a mission of strengthening the position of the Arabic language in society and consolidating the Emirati values on campus. The department has a team of highly qualified professors who spare no efforts in serving the university and the external community through research contributions and participation in forums, seminars, competitions and scientific conferences both on and off campus. The department offers the Arabic language courses in the General Education program that all university students take upon joining the university. Additionally, it offers advanced Arabic language courses aimed at students of the majors, as well as elective courses that students can take to build on their passion for this great language.
