Pamela S. Thompson is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, she received her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas, Lawrence.
She crafted speeches, organized media events and wrote, edited and designed newsletters while in Washington, D.C.; back in Nebraska, she was the Capitol Bureau Chief of the Hastings Tribune and the arts and entertainment reporter for the state’s first online newspaper, NebraskaStatePaper.com. Ms. Pamela served as press secretary on various congressional, gubernatorial and senatorial political campaigns in Colorado, Delaware and Nebraska.
Switching from politics to journalism, she was a general assignment reporter at the Lincoln Journal Star newspaper before founding an arts, culture and lifestyle glossy magazine where she served as Editor-in-Chief.
Most recently, she was the Marketing Director at the Lied Center for Performing Arts and the Editor, feature writer and photographer of the NET Now magazine for the one million members of the Nebraska public broadcasting radio and television stations.
