Hamza AlKhatib holds a bachelor's degree in TV film production and a bachelor's in communication and journalism. He is a member of the film industry in the UAE, a Certified Trainer of the Royal Film Commission of Jordan, an Apple Certified Pro in Final Cut Pro, a member of the International Federation of Journalists since 2012, and has served as Consultant and Trainer in the building of studios at Al Naba'a TV and Tunisia Today TV with Total Media Cast UK Company in the Middle East and North Africa.
In addition to consulting on academic studios and media production projects for MEU Jordan University, Gulf University in Bahrain, Emirates College of Technology in Abu Dhabi, and American University of Ma'adaba in Jordan, AlKhatib has also been a director and assistant director for more than 10 films including: Breaths, Panel Life, Female and Balloon and was the editing director of the Abu Dhabi TV series Fun Street.
AlKhatib started his career in SABC New South Africa as Production Supervisor in the Middle East and was part of the Ramallah Film Festival International team in 2004, 2005. AlKhatib also worked for Abu Dhabi Sports TV for three years as Freelance Senior Producer of sport programs. AlKhatib is currently developing his a feature film Suffocation which he hopes to screen in 2017.
