Suhaila Hassouneh, a Palestinian-American, was born and raised in Dubai, UAE, where she lived and attended school until 2003.
She then transitioned to college life in Washington State, Pullman, where she pursued her passion for English Literature and teaching. In 2007, she attended and graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle, with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Minor in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations.
In 2010, Ms. Suhaila graduated from Central Washington University, Ellensburg, with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a specialization in film analysis.
Recently, the focus of her research has been the impact of social media on gender and how the gaps between gender stereotypes are being bridged.
